My process of painting is iterative.

Canvasses are layered and excavated, revealing impressionistic landscapes to which I add suggestions of shadow, light, and architectural or topographic detail.

 

I’m inspired equally by views recalled from personal travel experiences, and those that disappear quickly through the window of a moving car.
